The open day of the UWA underwater club was a really nice thing to get everyone to signup for a new year of membership, enjoy a sausage sizzle and even a really nice dive on Robbs jetty.

It took over a year and prmoises would not be kept, but now there are a few new pictures, and maybe there will be some more soon. I have bought a camera case to take it down to 40m and intend to catch a few nice fish every now and then. We'll see. Hope you like them.

After a promise to post more news and pictures I have been slacking a bit I guess.
Well, now I am in europe and I have also made a plunge to purchase a new fancy camera.
Now I am sure, that I will take more pictures. More time, and more new motives.

I took the chance to go on a long weekend to the Southwest taking our visiting scientist and her son along (what a good excuse to do that )
It really was the first chance for my "new" camera to show what it can do. I noticed that compared to my old stolen one, that he old one was a tinge better in low light conditions, but that was to be expected. Now I am at least water resistant :-)
As to be expected these pictures show the typical tourie stuff you get to "endure" when you have an excuse to get out the house ;-)
I really like the area and should leave the city more often. So if anyone wants to come and visit, so I can have an excuse, please feel free to do so any time! :-D

Some people will probably say that the title does not suit the occasion, but since I have finally managed to replace my stolen Camera (damn you thief!!!!) I thought this is almost like coming back.

My Camera has not reappeared and I am still trying to decide what sort of Camera I would like to have have as a replacement.
Hopefully the insurance will pay me soon, and I will be able to find a replacement.

Apart from that i have been on a couple of weekend outings and was able to borrow Amy's Camera for that.
So I made two little galleries of that.

One trip to serpentine national Park was very enjoyable, as the Kangaroos there seem to very attracted by human food. If you are careful enough you can even feel their smooth fur. :-)

Tja, so ist es nun mal, da verspricht man man werde sich fortan öfter melden und mehr Bilder hoch laden und dann kommt ja doch wieder alles anders.

Beruflich hat sich eigentlich sich eigentlich nichts sonderlich grossartiges getan. Manchmal hab ich den Eindruck es ist etwas stressiger aber damit müssen wir glaub ich alle leben.

Das ich keine Bilder mehr hochgeladen habe in letzter Zeit liegt mitunter auch daran, dass mir meine Kamera abhanden gekommen ist. Zusammen mit meiner Federtasche, einer Sonnenbrille und meinem japanischen Taschenmesser.
Kaum zieht man um sind plötzlich alle dinge weg, da ch nicht einfach eine kiste irgendwo stehen gelassen habe, wird sich wohl irgendwo irgendwann mal jemand bedient haben als ich nicht aufgepasst habe. Türen waren auf jeden fall alle verschlossen und das Auto auch. Wo und wer da die Finger lang gemacht hat weiss ich natürlich leider nicht.

Wer meine neue Adresse haben möchte der darf mich gerne danach Fragen.
Sie ist nicht so geheim, dass sie keiner wissen soll, aber sie im Internet zu veröffentlichen macht auch wenig Sinn.

It really has taken a while again before I manged to get a few things done.

The Christmas holidays are almost over and I still have not been through all my photos taken during, before or after my trip to Europe and Singapore.
Hopefully I will upload a few of them in the next week or so. It will mean, that I will have to delete a few older folders, so if anyone wants to look at the pictures from 2005 and 2006 they better hurry.
I hope you had a great start into 2009 and that it will bring us all peace health and happiness.
